The MittelrheinBahn route

The MittelrheinBahn operates ultra modern comfortable trains on one of the most beautiful railway routes in Germany. The MittelrheinBahn includes the regional routes, MRB 26/KBS 470 and MRB 32/KBS 471. With the Köln Messe/Deutz and Mainz Hbf route, it not only links the major cities of Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz and Mainz but also runs through the Rheintal, which is part of UNESCOs World Heritage, between Koblenz and Bingen. Here, the passengers can visit world famous places of interest and popular excursion destinations. These include the Loreley and the Andernach Geyser.

The current tariffs of the transport association networks on the MittelrheinBahn also apply on the trans regio:

	between Cologne and Bonn-Mehlem: Rhein–Sieg transport association (VRS)
	In the changing of the tariff zone up to Brohl, the VRS tariff is applicable. There are special pricing regulations of the VRS when using job tickets, corporate client tickets, semester tickets and student tickets.
	between Rolandseck and Oberwesel: Rhein–Mosel transport association (VRM)
	between Bacharach and Mainz: Rhein–Nahe local transport association (RNN)
